As a Field Engineer, you will be the eyes on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards through detailed surveillance, reporting, and coordination. This position offers a unique chance to build foundational experience within a major project environment, supporting critical activities such as pipework, tank/vessel, steelwork, HVAC, turbine/generator, and equipment installations-all while working with a dynamic, cross-disciplinary team. Your meticulous attention to detail, confident communication, and knowledge of industry standards will make you an essential part of our project&apos;s success.</p> <p><br><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p> <p><br>General knowledge of activities including pipework, tank/vessel, steelwork erection, HVAC, turbine/generator, pumps, valves, and heat exchangers installation<br>Experience with alignment checks, torque control, joint integrity, FME procedures, QA/QC, and punchlist inspections<br>Proficiency in computer software such as Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and PowerPoint<br>Confident communication skills, with the ability to challenge and report effectively<br>Knowledge of specifications such as BTS, BST, ISO 9001, GQAS, NCRs, and ITPs</p> <p><br><strong>Nice to Have Skills:</strong></p> <p><br>Experience in record-keeping and reporting for construction quality assurance<br>Familiarity with project surveillance meetings and contractor coordination<br>Additional certifications or formal qualifications in mechanical engineering preferred but not essential</p> <p><br><strong>Preferred Education and Experience:</strong></p> <p><br>Mechanical qualifications (HND, diploma, or equivalent) are advantageous but not mandatory<br>Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar field surveillance or technical role<br>Hands-on experience preferred; candidates seeking a primarily observational role will thrive</p> <p><br><strong>Other Requirements:</strong></p> <p><br>Must be comfortable working 75% on-site at industrial sites and 25% in the office<br>Willingness to undertake occasional documentation reviews and specifications checks<br>Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team</p> <p><br>If you&apos;re ready to contribute your expertise in a challenging, rewarding setting and grow within a major project environment, don&apos;t hesitate-apply now and become an integral part of our team!</p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
