<p>The HPC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.</p> <p><strong>Construction Manager N1 - HVAC Installation</strong><br><strong>Altrad</strong><br><strong>HPC</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Permanent</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Accountabilities</strong></p> <p>• To support the installation activities of the HPC MEH HVAC scope on site through collaboration and coordination with site teams, through to handover to commissioning. <br>• This is a site delivery role, there is a necessity to work under the time pressure of the schedule in order to unblock technical issues to allow continuity of work by the installation teams. <br>• The HVAC Construction Manager is part of a wider of team of Leaders reporting to the Mechanical Lead supporting the delivery of the installation. Delivery of the upstream engineering sequence is outside the scope of the Construction Manager&apos;s role, however they should ensure integration with the other areas of the team and other disciplines. <br>• The Construction Manager has counterparts across the other disciplines in MEH construction team, who perform equivalent roles for the other 4 disciplines of MEH. <br>• Support the Area and Building Leads, and Construction Engineers in the day-to-day construction planning, engineering and works progression. Utilising the TVPM, to drive Safety, Quality and Production. <br>• Accountable to deliver Discipline Specific Construction Work Pack scope of works to support the MEH construction activities. <br>• Ensure that preconstruction and installation are intrinsically linked, using the building engineers as required to facilitate sequencing of installation that maximises efficiency. <br>• Manage project change within your discipline ensuring that the project change process is adhered to. This will include construction documentation as well as scope change aspects of the contract.</p> <p><br><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p>• Degree in relevant construction discipline or HVAC engineering with extensive experience working in this type of role or 10 years&apos; experience in a site construction management role <br>• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and installation <br>• Good knowledge of CDM Regulations. <br>• CCNSG Safety Passport (Or MAPS) <br>• Capable of obtaining security clearance of BPSS or higher. <br>• Proven experience or safely delivering large scale construction or engineering projects including working at a management level of authority. Experience in the heavy industry or nuclear sectors is beneficial as is experience in working with Joint Ventures.</p> <p><br><strong>Experience</strong></p> <p>• Managing the technical issues relating to the installation of HVAC (construction activities), in particular: <br>• Writing of the documentation for erection activities. Ensuring documents are compliant with latest works information and other MEH documentation. <br>• Supporting Technical Queries. Resolving the construction Open Points. <br>• Coordinate all the engineering activities to support construction sequence, and including the identification and implementation of improvements to processes and ways of working (e.g., redlining process on site). <br>• Ensure integration of the needs for activities post-construction (completion team) into the construction sequence (for instance: Commissioning Test Pack review and acceptance).</p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
