<p>The Sizewell C Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.#SZCJobs</p><p> </p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong>Workforce Manager (Labour Manager) (Sizewell C)</strong><br><strong>Bachy Soletanche/GSA</strong><br><strong>Sizewell C</strong></p> <p><br><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p><br>As a Workforce Manager, you will oversee the allocation, coordination, and performance of frontline workers for GSA on Sizewell C, ensuring efficient workforce deployment, effective stakeholder communication, and timely recruitment of labour.</p> <p><br><strong>What You&apos;ll Be Doing</strong></p> <p><br>Coordinate the allocation and deployment of frontline workers across Sizewell C to meet operational demands<br>Build and maintain strong working relationships with Workforce Managers and operational teams across all business units<br>Monitor and analyse workforce performance and productivity, implementing improvements where required<br>Support talent development through mentoring and identifying high-potential individuals<br>Lead performance management processes, including conducting investigations and disciplinary actions<br>Provide expert guidance on disciplinary matters, ensuring compliance with policies relating to attendance, timekeeping, and workforce conduct<br>Support payroll processes, including the review and approval of weekly timesheets in collaboration with the Workforce Resource Manager<br>Manage end-to-end recruitment of frontline workers, including sourcing agency labour<br>Produce regular workforce performance reports and contribute to future workforce forecasting across the GSA<br>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CIJC WRA agreements, updates, and industry changes<br>Continuously review and improve workforce coordination processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness<br>Ensure clear, consistent communication between operational teams and key stakeholders</p> <p><br><strong>What We&apos;re Looking For</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Essential:</strong></p> <p><br>Strong communicator and relationship builder<br>Works positively within teams and the ability to work autonomously<br>The ability to recognise, promote, encourage and develop talent for future leadership roles<br>Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills<br>Excellent time management<br>Understanding and awareness of HR<br>Strong IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint<br>Shows drive, ambition and initiative<br>Knowledge of Health and Safety</p> <p><br><strong>Desirable:</strong></p> <p><br>Construction or major infrastructure experience<br>Experience producing operational or workforce reports<br>Knowledge of workforce legislation<br>Relevant professional and technical qualifications are desirable can be provided</p> <p><br>As well as being part of a landmark project and working in a collaborative alliance environment, we offer:</p> <p><br>Discretionary annual bonus (based on personal/project performance)Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme (min. 5% company contribution)<br>Enhanced Sick Pay (after probation)<br>Income Protection, Private Medical Insurance and Life Assurance<br>Employee Assistance Programme<br>25-days annual leave + Bank Holidays per year (increasing with service)<br>Option to purchase additional annual leave<br>Paid annual professional memberships<br>Volunteering days<br>Professional growth and development</p> <p> </p> <p> </p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
