<p>The SZC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.</p> <p>Opportunity for a Dozer Operator (Sizewell C) working woth Flannery on the Sizewell C Project,</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Job Responsibilities:</b></p> <ul> <li>Operate dozers for grading, levelling, pushing material, and preparing sites as per project requirements.</li> <li>Conduct pre-start checks and daily maintenance to ensure the dozer is in safe and efficient working condition.</li> <li>Work closely with site supervisors, surveyors, and other operators to ensure precise execution of tasks.</li> <li>Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and site-specific regulations.</li> <li>Monitor and manage material movement to ensure accuracy and minimize waste.</li> <li>Perform basic troubleshooting and report any faults or maintenance needs promptly.</li> <li>Use GPS and machine control systems (if applicable) to achieve accurate grading and earthworks.</li> <li>Maintain accurate documentation of daily tasks and equipment use.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><br> <b>Qualifications:</b></p> <ul> <li>Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for Dozers.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><br> <b>GPS Machine Control:</b></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience with GPS machine control systems such as Trimble, Topcon, or Leica for precise grading and automated operation.</li> <li>Ability to adjust settings and troubleshoot minor issues related to machine control systems.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><b>Diverse Site Operations:</b></p> <ul> <li>Exposure to a variety of projects, including infrastructure, residential developments, earthworks, and environmental remediation.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><b>Team Collaboration:</b></p> <ul> <li>History of working collaboratively with surveyors, site supervisors, and other equipment operators to achieve project goals efficiently.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><br> <b>Additional Plant Machinery Experience:</b></p> <ul> <li>Experience operating other heavy machinery, such as excavators, ADTs, or compactors, is advantageous.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
