<p>The SZC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project. #SZCJobs</p> <p>Opportunity for<b> Excavator Operators (Sizewell B)</b> working with Flannery on the Sizewell B Site,</p> <p><br> <b>Main Duties : </b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Safely operate excavators to perform a variety of tasks such as digging, trenching, backfilling, grading, and loading materials.</li> <li>Use GPS machine control systems if required for precision grading or excavation.</li> <li>Follow site plans and blueprints to complete tasks according to specifications.</li> <li>Conduct pre-operational checks and daily maintenance of the excavator, including checking fluids, tires/tracks, lights, and safety equipment.</li> <li>Report mechanical issues or damage promptly and ensure equipment is repaired as needed.</li> <li>Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.</li> </ul> <p><br> <b>Qualifications/Experience : </b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for Excavators.</li> <li>Experience operating excavators on construction, groundwork, or civil engineering projects.</li> <li>Proven ability to handle excavators of various sizes and types, including those with specialized attachments like breakers, grapples, or rippers.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
