<p>The SZC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project. #SZCJobs</p><p style="text-align:center"><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Engineering Authority - Data (Sizewell B)</strong></span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Vodafone</strong></span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Sizewell B</strong></span></p> <p><strong>APPLY HERE: <a href="https://jobs.vodafone.com/careers?domain=vodafone.com&query=engineering+authority&start=0&pid=563018685242470&sort_by=solr">Careers at Vodafone</a> </strong></p> <p><br><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p> <p><br>Plan, Design and Implement network solutions to meet customer business requirements.<br>Be a Technical Lead for delivery of customer network projects.<br>Ensure Change Control and other mandatory processes are adhered to.<br>Ensure all work is risk-assessed with the production and maintenance of H&S Compliant documentation(RAMs and Point of Works Risk Assessment).<br>Where required undertake hands-on build activity to stage, commission and install new network equipment.<br>Produce customer site and solution network documentation.<br>Monitor progress of activities within each project; providing regular updates to management and keystakeholders.<br>Management and coordination of 3rd party suppliers.<br>Provide technical support and assistance to pre-sales activity.<br>Ensure technical knowledge is kept up to date and make recommendations to changes in customer technical standards.<br>Work co-operatively with team members and colleagues, contributing positively and constructively to the achievement of team and organisational objectives.</p> <p><br><strong>Technical experience:</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Required:</strong></p> <p><br>Switches<br>Cisco Catalyst Series (LAN Core/Access)<br>Cisco Nexus Series (LAN Core/Data Centre)<br>Cisco Nexus 2000 Series Fabric Extenders<br>Cisco Meraki MS<br>Wireless LAN<br>Cisco Meraki MR Access Points</p> <p><br><strong>Desirable:</strong></p> <p><br>Load Balancers<br>F5 BIG-IP iSeries<br>Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS)<br>Cisco 6248UP Fabric Interconnect<br>Security<br>Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)<br>Cisco Meraki MX<br>SDWAN and software defined networks.<br>Have practical and theoretical experience of routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP.</p> <p><br><strong>Who you are</strong></p> <p><br>Have experience of working with (configuring and implementing) predominantly Cisco and Meraki LAN and WLAN solutions in an enterprise environment.<br>Have extensive field experience including cabling and installation of networking equipment.<br>Be a self-motivated individual with the ability to develop strong customer relationships as well as functioning in a team environment<br>Full SC Security Clearance or the ability to obtain<br>Project Management experience is advantageous.<br>Experience of working in a construction environment (including CCNSG Certification) is desired but not mandatory.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>APPLY HERE: <a href="https://jobs.vodafone.com/careers?domain=vodafone.com&query=engineering+authority&start=0&pid=563018685242470&sort_by=solr">Careers at Vodafone</a> </strong></p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
