<p>The SZC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project. #SZCJobs</p><p>Opportunity for <strong>Vehicle and Plant Marshal (Sizewell C)</strong> working for Ballycommon on the Sizewell C Project,</p> <p><br><strong>Main Duties:</strong></p> <p><br>Safely directing and coordinating the movement of vehicles, HGVs, and heavy plant on site<br>Assisting with traffic management, ensuring safe entry and exit from work zones<br>Communicating clearly with drivers, operators, and site teams via hand signals and radio<br>Managing exclusion zones, pedestrian routes, and controlled plant movement areas<br>Conducting visual checks of plant routes and access ways to ensure clear and hazard-free conditions<br>Supporting logistics and delivery coordination<br>Enforcing site traffic rules and reporting any unsafe behaviours or near misses</p> <p><br><strong>Qualifications/Experience:</strong></p> <p><br>CPCS or NPORS Vehicle and Plant Marshal ticket (A73 or equivalent)<br>Valid CSCS card<br>Safety-critical medical (or willingness to obtain)<br>Right to work in the UK<br>Full PPE<br>Previous experience as a vehicle or plant marshal on a busy construction or infrastructure site<br>Familiarity with managing HGV movements, plant operations, and pedestrian interfaces<br>Strong communication skills, with confidence directing multiple plant types<br>Proven awareness of on-site health, safety, and environmental protocols<br>Experience working on high-security or regulated projects such as nuclear, MOD, or rail is advantageous<br>SC or BPSS clearance (or willingness to undergo vetting)<br>Additional plant or traffic marshalling tickets<br>Background in logistics, banksman duties, or site security/movement control<br>Multi-skilled (e.g. first aid, fire marshal, or slinger tickets)</p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
