With 20,000 employees in over 70 locations worldwide, we provide components, fuel, and control systems for nuclear power plants, along with a full suite of reactor services - all focused on improving safety, performance, and sustainability.<br>Now&apos;s your chance to join a company that&apos;s shaping the energy transition - where your expertise will matter, your growth will be supported, and your work will help power generations to come.<br>Framatome is one the main contractors for the construction of Hinkley Point C nuclear power plant, overseeing the design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of primary circuit components.</p> <p><br>Based on Hinkley Point Construction Site</p> <p><br><strong>Main Duties:</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Manage the fleet of calibrated tools at HPC site, including :</strong></p> <p><br>• Manage the signing out of tools, ensuring accurate data entry including FUD and operation numbers for full traceability.<br>• Maintain up-to-date records of all issued tools and associated certificates.<br>• Conduct regular stock checks to ensure tool availability.<br>• Organise tools systematically on racking for efficient access and inventory control.<br>• Create tool batches to ensure sufficient calibrated tools are always available.<br>• Ensure all failed or uncalibrated tools are securely stored and clearly labelled with "not calibrated" stickers.<br>• Test torque wrenches and complete pre-issue paperwork prior to release.<br>• Collect tools requiring recalibration and coordinate their shipment and documentation updates.<br>• Notify relevant teams of any failed tools and trace previous usage.<br>• Maintain copies of calibration certificates and issue certificates when tools are signed out.<br>• Create and assign 98 numbers for newly purchased tools.<br>• Liaise with Trescal/Chalon and other calibration providers regarding queries and errors.<br>• Record and update all calibration information in coswin and excel databases.<br>• On receipt of calibrated tools, verify certificates for accuracy and completeness.<br>• Create the coswin front for each tool.<br>• Apply the appropriate green/gold calibration stickers.<br>• Record any failed or disposed tools and ensure coswin is updated accordingly<br>• Escort Trescal driver from south plaza to the HHA building-HHA building to south plaza.<br>• Ensure all tools on the trescal consolidated packing list are present when returned back from calibration.<br>• Distribute relevant calibration certification documents to the quality and surveillance departments on request.</p> <p><br><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <p><br>• Experienced person in calibration, used to manage a fleet of tools<br>• Experience in working with Framatome Chalon calibration department (IB) and knowledge in COSWIN software (training will be provided in France)<br>• Knowledge of installation activities will be beneficial</p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
