<p>The Sizewell C Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.#SZCJobs</p><p> </p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong>Plant Competence Coordinator (Sizewell C)</strong><br><strong>Civil Works Alliance (CWA)</strong><br><strong>Sizewell C</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Job Responsibilities </strong></p> <p><br>• Support the Senior Works Manager and team in competence records and compliance. <br>• Ensure compliance with H&amp;S legislation, procedures and contract requirements at all times.<br>• Provide HSW Support to the delivery teams in the review of project documentation.<br>• Attend and support prestart planning meetings where required.<br>• Undertake HSW safety engagement tours and formal inspections in line with project requirements.<br>• Attend client meetings and working groups on behalf of the CWA as and when required.<br>• Identify opportunities to change the way activities are undertaken to improve H&amp;S performance.<br>• Analyse data for trends and produce reports and recommendations as required.<br>• Support the delivery team to investigate Plant adverse events and trends.<br>• Deliver training and advisory sessions to personnel and contractors as required.<br>• Champion behavioural safety and the building of a positive safety culture<br>• Promote the use of technology and business systems across the project.<br>• Be able to plan and monitor performance on SMART Objectives<br>• Provide coaching and mentoring to the wider project team in health, Safety and Wellbeing</p> <p><br><strong>Qualifications </strong></p> <p><br>Essential</p> <p><br>• National Diploma or equivalent L6 qualification (or working toward)<br>• Driving Licence<br>• SMSTS</p> <p><br>Desirable</p> <p><br>• Incident investigation<br>• CertIOSH <br>• CSCS card<br>• Site Environmental Awareness Training (SEATS) or similar<br>• 3 day First Aid At Work (or above)<br>• Fire marshal</p> <p><br><strong>Experience </strong></p> <p><br>Essential</p> <p><br>• Strong understanding of various plant machines and plant management. <br>• Strong understanding of UK H&amp;S Regulatory Framework.<br>• Experience of managing health, safety and wellbeing on complex construction and civils projects.<br>• Ability to engage and converse at all levels.<br>• Competence in incident &amp; accident investigation.<br>• Use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.<br>• Ability to influence others and promote a positive safety culture.<br>• Ability to produce formal reports and documents.<br>• Understanding of the principles behind behaviour management.</p> <p><br>Desirable</p> <p><br>• Use of Microsoft Vision, PowerApps and PowerBi<br>• Mentoring and coaching skills<br>• Experience in one or more of the following<br>- Nuclear Sector<br>- Tunneling activities<br>- Heavy Plant operations<br>- Lifting operations<br>- Coastal/Marine works<br>- Temporary works<br>- Excavations</p> <p> </p> <p> </p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
