BTP Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) organization is responsible for 40+ mission critical SAP BTP cloud services reliability. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Develop tools and advanced automation features that continuously reduce the need for manual intervention. We actively work on PoCs using LLMs and agentic workflows.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Develop fundamental services, e.g., CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging, and reporting.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Automate root cause analysis reports and develop standard operating procedures.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Provide knowledge management in the team and between operations and development </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards in all processes listed in the relevant process map.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Participate in SRE on-call one week per month.</li> </ul> Required skills: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Hands-on experience with Linux and Docker.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Experience working with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate issues down to the application or code level.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to design and build automation solutions using at least one programming or scripting language.</li> </ul> Preferred skills: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and at least one observability/monitoring platform.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and modern deployment practices.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Anthropic Claude is a plus.</li> </ul> Bring out your best SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
