Alliance, comprising John Holland, Alstom, RATP Dev, KBR and WSP, are excited to be delivering the transformative Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East Linewide package.</p> <p> </p> <p>When SRL opens, the new rail services for passengers will also be delivered by, a venture between RATP Dev and John Holland to operate and maintain the franchise for 15 years from 2035, to be known as TransitLinx.</p> <p> </p> <p>The Alliance will deliver a world-class, service-proven driverless metro system that sets new benchmarks for comfort, safety, and reliability for Melbourne.</p> <p> </p> <p>SRL is a transport and urban planning project that will deliver world-class public transport, reduce travel times, and support the delivery of more homes and housing.</p> <p> </p></div></div><div <p><em><strong>Accountable for the delivery of communications and operational technology systems including:</strong></em></p> <p>Wireless Telecommunications<br>Fixed Telecommunications<br>Public Communications<br>Security Access and Monitoring</p> <p><br>The role leads delivery across complex, interface-heavy environments, ensuring seamless integration of tunnel, station, and train style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What you will do;</b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <p><strong>End-to-End Delivery – Communications Systems</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><em><strong>Own delivery of WTN, FTN, Operational Controls systems and communications scope, including:</strong></em></p> <p>Radio systems (e.g. DAS / in-tunnel coverage/station interfaces)<br>Transmission and fibre networks<br>CCTV and security systems<br>Access control systems<br>Operational control and monitoring systems<br>Ensure systems are delivered from design integration through to commissioning and handover</p> <p><br><em><strong>Lead integration across:</strong></em></p> <p>Tunnel systems (DAS, fibre, emergency systems)<br>Station systems (CCTV, PA, customer systems, security)<br>Train interfaces (e.g. onboard connectivity, CCTV feeds)<br>Resolve complex cross-package and multi-vendor interface risks<br>Lead integration risk and dependency management across communications systems<br>Implement and drive defect and issue resolution frameworks<br>Maintain alignment to program schedule, cost, and performance targets<br>Lead multidisciplinary delivery teams<br>Drive alignment across civil, rail systems and operations teams</p> <p> </p> <p><em><strong>Ensure all communications systems meet:</strong></em></p> <p>Rail safety and assurance requirements<br>Operational performance standards<br>Cyber security and critical infrastructure requirements<br>Support readiness for assurance reviews, trials, and regulatory are looking for;</b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Experience</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Extensive experience delivering communications and systems integration within: <ul type="circle"> <li>Rail tunnels and underground stations (highly desirable)</li> <li>Major infrastructure or transport programs</li> </ul> </li> <li>Proven delivery of complex, interface-heavy systems environments</li> <li>Experience leading large teams (20+ personnel) and multi-contractor environments</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Technical Capability (Critical for this role)</strong></p> <p>Strong knowledge of:</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Tunnel communications systems (e.g. DAS, fibre backbone networks)</li> <li>Station systems (CCTV, access control, operational systems)</li> <li>Integration across OT, telecoms, and control systems</li> <li>Testing & commissioning in live or high-risk operational environments</li> <li>Multi-vendor integration</li> <li>Complex system interfaces across tunnels, stations, and rolling stock</li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li>Proven ability to: <ul type="circle"> <li>Drive delivery outcomes under pressure</li> <li>Align diverse stakeholders across packages</li> <li>Translate technical complexity into program-level decisions</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications (Desirable)</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Engineering, Telecommunications, or related discipline</li> <li>Certifications such as: <ul type="circle"> <li>Networking (e.g. CCNA)</li> <li>ITIL / SAFe</li> <li>Rail Industry Worker (RIW),
