The team operates at the heart of the firm, regularly interacting with senior management, investment teams, and external counsel, and ensures a business-minded approach to investment-related legal matters.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">This is not a traditional paralegal role. We are looking for a passionate colleague with AI/tech experience who is excited about the intersection of law, technology and business and wants to help shape the next generation of investment legal operations in a leading global private markets firm.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">As our Paralegal, you will play a dual role:</span></p> <p> </p> <ol> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Traditional paralegal support</strong> - providing high-quality legal, operational and administrative support across the investment lifecycle, working with internal and external counsels, investment professionals, and cross-functional stakeholders on complex transactional and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions and asset classes, including Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Private Credit.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>AI & tech enablement -</strong> critically assessing Investment Legal's workstreams and day-to-day operations, helping to map, design and implement AI, automation and agentic solutions to drive efficiency and quality.</span></li> </ol> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">You will join a senior team in a global, fast-paced environment, gaining exposure to senior stakeholders while helping modernize legal ways of working through process discipline and the thoughtful use of legal technology.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Key responsibilities:</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Traditional Paralegal Support</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Support the Investment Legal team on a range of topics including investment-related obligations and monitoring portfolio company activities.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Closely liaise with external counsel, service providers and internal teams to ensure adherence with investment-related legal processes and procedures.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Help manage legal knowledge resources, including internal Investment Legal processes and procedures.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Collaborate with internal functions including operations, asset management, leadership and client teams to address legal and transactional needs across portfolio companies.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Manage regulatory related operational matters, including documentation, service provider coordination and compliance tracking.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Provide support on ad hoc legal, regulatory and transactional projects as needed.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">AI & Technology Enablement</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Help develop and pilot use cases for legal AI tools (e.g., contract review, knowledge management, obligation tracking, drafting assistance, summarization, due diligence support).</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Support the design, build and rollout of bespoke AI agents and automated workflows tailored to Investment Legal's needs.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead and support team training and adoption initiatives to embed new tools and ways of working across the team.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Partner with internal technology, data and innovation teams to evaluate and implement fit-for-purpose solutions.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Track impact, share learnings, and continuously iterate on the enablement roadmap.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p><style type="text/css"> .newspaper { h1 { font-size: 250%;
