What it's about This position is an exciting opportunity to join the Private Infrastructure Partnership Investment Team and take part in all aspects of non control-oriented Infrastructure investments, with a focus on Infrastructure secondaries (including continuation funds, structured solutions, and LP portfolios) and non-control equity investments (including direct minority investments, co-investments, and preferred equity). The team targets investments across infrastructure sub-sectors including Energy, Communications, Transportation, Social Infrastructure, and Infrastructure Services. We are looking to add this individual to our London office. Main responsibility: <ul> <li>Lead quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective private infrastructure investments</li> <li>Own and run sophisticated infrastructure financial models</li> <li>Analyze and prepare investment memoranda for Partners Group's Investment Committee</li> <li>Independently lead workstreams in transaction teams, including coaching and oversight of junior professionals</li> <li>Support senior investment professionals in structuring creative transactions</li> <li>Take a lead role in monitoring infrastructure investments and managing relationships with infrastructure managers, portfolio company management teams and intermediaries,</li> <li>Perform various tasks related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, internal requests, and marketing efforts</li> </ul> <style type="text/css"> .newspaper { h1 { font-size: 250%; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; } h2 { font-size: 200%; } p { font-size: 100%; } </style> <div class="newspaper"> </div> <div class="newspaper">What we expect For this exciting position, we are looking for a person who works well in a very entrepreneurial organization, someone who is a self-starter and possesses strong numerical, networking and organization skills. The successful candidate should have the following profile: <ul> <li>Approx. 5+ years of relevant work experience, including a background in principal investing and/or investment banking.</li> <li>At least 2 years of transaction experience in the infrastructure asset class</li> <li>Interest in building a career in the infrastructure secondaries market</li> <li>Excellent analytical, financial, interpersonal, and client-facing skills, combined with the desire to learn and succeed</li> <li>Expert knowledge of Excel and financial modeling skills; ability to conduct research and cope with incomplete information</li> <li>Strong work ethic</li> <li>Independent and curious minded, the role involves learning and acting on your own accord</li> <li>Experience managing junior investment professionals (Analysts)</li> <li>The ability to be self-driven and self-motivated.
