We need a Senior Architect to lead enterprise AI strategy within the IT Architecture team. You'll translate C-suite ambitions into defensible technical architecture, selecting platforms, governing risk, shipping solutions to production. You'll own technology decisions (buy versus build, model selection, cloud infrastructure), engaging with senior stakeholders, and embed governance and compliance throughout delivery. What you’ll be doing: Define and drive enterprise AI architecture and strategy Turn business needs into scalable AI solutions (GenAI, RAG, agents, ML) Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders Oversee end-to-end delivery quality – from design to production Lead technology decisions (buy vs build, platforms, models) Embed Responsible AI (governance, explainability, compliance) Mentor teams and promote engineering excellence What we’re looking for: Extensive Architecture experience in AI ProjectsProven experience at leading application architecture or development through all lifecycle phases on several enterprise scale projects Proven experience at architecture or technical leadership of AI and ML systemsProven track record delivering AI/ML solutions in productionStrong expertise in Agentic AI, Generative AI and LLMOpsExperience with Azure AI ecosystem and modern cloud architecturesStrong communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholdersBackground in financial services / regulated environments is a plus Who you are: A seasoned architect with a AI-focused tech lead background who thinks strategically, communicates clearly, and thrives on turning complex challenges into impactful AI solutions.What is it like to work at the EBRD? / About EBRD Our agile and innovative approach is what makes life at the EBRD a unique experience!
