Financial Analyst, Operations The Opportunity This position is part of the Glanbia Nutritionals (DN) Operations Finance team, which includes Southwest Cheese and MWC. Our team is responsible for operational financial modelling, performance/cost reporting, planning and analysis for manufacturing plants in Idaho, New Mexico, and Michigan. What You’ll Do <ul style="margin-bottom:0.0in;margin-top:0.0px"> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Idaho financial planning model, including transfer prices.</li> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Finished goods inventory analysis.</li> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Cheese freight recovery outlooks and budgeting.</li> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Regular milk demand planning model across the GN Idaho facilities, analyze and monitor trends of component variances against plan and forecasts.</li> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Prepare monthly milk analysis for performance causals and provide insightful commentary for commercial and operations packs.</li> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Analyze monthly GN Dairy spare parts analysis, including but not limited to slow moving parts, rebuilt parts tracking and reporting, and min/max inventory analysis reports.</li> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Supports GN Dairy powders inventory analysis and outlooks, as needed.</li> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Review work and test for reasonableness; identify questionable results and investigate root cause.</li> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Support analysis of data as well as development/refinement of financial models related to continuous improvement initiatives and internal growth.</li> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Collaborate with finance and operations teams across Idaho, New Mexico, and Michigan to drive efficiencies and standardization of processes across the organization.</li> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Manage individual and team projects as assigned.</li> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Cross-train with other analysts, collaborate and share learnings across the team.</li> </ul> The Skills You Will Bring To The Team <ul style="margin-bottom:0.0in;margin-top:0.0px"> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Bachelor’s degree required, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience.</li> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Excellent oral and written communications skills</li> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Ability to quickly change priorities and handle competing priorities</li> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Must be extremely accurate and detail oriented in performing tasks and cross-checking work</li> <li style="margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;margin-left:0.0px">Strong organizational skills with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail </li> </ul> Where And How You Will Work The opportunity will be based in Twin Falls, Idaho with hybrid working arrangements available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.
