Rasulpura Village, II, Bol, Sanand, Gujarat 382170, India </strong></span></p> <p><span style=""><strong>Job Description</strong></span></p> <p><span style="">The On-Site IT Support Engineer is responsible for providing hands-on technical support for on-site office IT infrastructure and technology.</span></p> <p><span style="">This role involves acting as remote hands to resolve local infrastructure-related issues, handling the installation and decommissioning of both office hardware and end-user technology hardware, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and equipment in office environments.</span></p> <p><span style="">They will also manage IT onboarding and offboarding processes, including the distribution and collection of end-user devices, and provide technical support for corporate events and local site-specific technology.</span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><strong>Key Accountabilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Handle the installation, configuration, and decommissioning of end-user technology hardware, including laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones, printers and peripherals.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Provide on-site IT support for office corporate events, ensuring the functionality of IT and AV systems, including video conferencing (VC) units and telephony equipment.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Manage IT onboarding and offboarding processes, including the distribution, setup, and collection of end-user devices.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Support local site-specific technology, such as digital signage, printers, lab equipment, and other specialised systems.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and compliance with standards.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Collaborate with central IT teams and Manage Service Providers to execute tasks and resolve issues requiring on-site intervention. Act as remote hands to support the resolution of technical related issues, including troubleshooting and hardware replacements.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Document and report on activities, including hardware installations, decommissions, and issue resolutions, following established IT asset management processes.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Ensure adherence to IT security and compliance policies during all on-site activities.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Physically maintain local site IT infrastructure, including servers, UPS, and other end-user equipment as required.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Provide excellent customer service and technical support to end-users and stakeholders during corporate events and day-to-day operations.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are highly desirable.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">ITIL Foundation certification is a plus</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">5+ years of experience in IT Support, with a focus on on-site support for office environments, and end-user technology.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Hands-on experience with the installation, configuration, and decommissioning of IT hardware, including infrastructure and end-user devices.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Proven experience in supporting IT infrastructure for corporate events, including video conferencing (VC) systems and telephony equipment.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, telephony, and AV systems.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Familiarity with datacentre operations, including cabling, racking, and hardware troubleshooting.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Experience managing IT onboarding and offboarding processes, including device distribution and collection.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p><p>At Glanbia, we celebrate diversity, because we know that our individual strengths make us stronger together.
