Working under the supervision and guidance of their hierarchical superiors, the position plans and implements the unit’s nutrition program - providing technical support to EcoSec and Health teams, integrating nutrition indicators into assessments, and engaging with the nutrition cluster - while also contributing to the general activities of EcoSec through field data collection and analysis, functional responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Collaborates with EcoSec teams to design and deploy data-collection tools, integrating nutrition indicators like MUAC, oedema, and food consumption measures.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Supports fieldwork data collection, enters and maintains information in survey databases, and contributes to the Project and Activity Management (PAM) platform.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis on collected field data—including MUAC, oedema, food consumption, and household economy factors—and produces visual data representations.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Conducts SWOT analyses to identify response options across core EcoSec components while monitoring local security, socioeconomic, cultural, and political developments.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Contributes to beneficiary registration, develops distribution plans, and carries out on-site aid distributions using proper methods and logistics.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Supports the design and implementation of various economic relief modalities, including vouchers, fairs, cash transfers, and food/cash-for-work programs.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Assists the Nutrition Program Manager in Port Sudan in forecasting, projecting, and tracking the consumption of nutrition products used in General Food Distribution (GFD) and hospital programs.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Partners closely with the Health and Water & Habitat teams to support hospital programs, specifically assisting with drafting diets and training staff on patient nutritional assessments.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Contributes regularly to EcoSec internal monthly and quarterly reporting on food consumption and context, while providing translation and interpretation support when needed.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Expands the delegation's network with local authorities and
