We’re happy to receive applications in English or German.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your tasks:</strong></p> <p>In your role, you will manage and support the company's application portfolio, ensuring stable operation, optimal performance, and high availability of business-critical services. You will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications running primarily in Linux-based environments. Working closely with internal IT teams, infrastructure providers, software vendors, and business stakeholders, you will identify and resolve application-related issues and drive continuous service improvements. As part of our hybrid IT landscape, you will contribute to both on-premises and cloud-hosted services. While the initial focus of the role is on Linux-based application operations, you will have the opportunity to expand your expertise in cloud technologies and support our ongoing cloud transformation journey.</p> <p> </p> <p>Your responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Managing and supporting business-critical applications throughout their lifecycle</li> <li>Performing application deployments, upgrades, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting</li> <li>Monitoring application health, performance, and availability</li> <li>Coordinating incident resolution and driving root cause analysis</li> <li>Collaborating with vendors and infrastructure teams to ensure stable operations</li> <li>Automating operational processes where appropriate</li> <li>Contributing to operational documentation and knowledge sharing</li> <li>Supporting the continuous improvement of monitoring, alerting, and operational processes</li> <li>Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in application management and cloud technologies</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>After all, we value the exchange of ideas, being there for each other and encouraging each other to become better.
