<p> </p><h2><strong>Your role in our team</strong></h2> <p> </p> <p>As Technical Information Operations Manager, you will lead and continuously improve all operational activities within the Technical Documentation function. You will ensure that high-quality, compliant, and user-centric documentation is delivered for both standard product development and customer-specific project business. In this role, you will strengthen global documentation capabilities with an international approach and a strong focus on digital formats, while governing standards, processes, tools, and quality without performing operative authoring activities yourself.</p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>You lead and continuously improve all operational activities within the Technical Documentation function and ensure reliable, high-quality delivery across standard product and project business</li> <li>You manage a hybrid team of internal employees and external authors, ensuring unified workflows, strong collaboration, high productivity, and consistently high output quality</li> <li>You define team priorities, allocate resources, and set delivery schedules based on PLM and project requirements</li> <li>You monitor documentation KPIs, quality standards, and user feedback and initiate improvement measures to further enhance efficiency and user value</li> <li>You ensure the timely delivery, maintenance, and release of documentation and govern documentation standards, structured authoring, modular content, terminology, information architecture, metadata, and content workflows</li> <li>You oversee CCMS/DMS platforms and drive the adoption of automation and AI-supported tools to modernize the documentation landscape</li> <li>You ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 82079 and relevant EU regulatory requirements, especially the EU Machinery Regulation, while helping scale documentation processes toward global standards</li> <li>You drive global documentation capabilities and scalable content workflows, including the management of localization and translation processes via external partners</li> <li>You collaborate closely with PLM/R&D, Engineering, Project Execution, Customer Service, CE/UL, and international stakeholders to support product-level and project-specific documentation requirements</li> <li>You foster modernization, automation, and future-ready content strategies within the Technical Documentation function</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2><strong>Your profile </strong></h2> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>You hold a degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Information Management, Communication Studies, Media Studies, Journalism, Linguistics, or a related field</li> <li>You bring professional experience in technical documentation, including team and/or project leadership responsibility</li> <li>You have experience working with hybrid teams and possess strong vendor and stakeholder management skills</li> <li>You have strong knowledge of EU compliance requirements and the ability to scale documentation processes internationally</li> <li>You are proficient with structured authoring, CCMS/DMS technologies, and digital documentation ecosystems</li> <li>You demonstrate strong leadership, coaching, and people management capabilities in an international and matrix-oriented environment</li> <li>You are skilled in workflow automation, content governance, and emerging documentation trends such as AI-assisted authoring and digital twins</li> <li>You have excellent English and German language skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and a continuous improvement mindset focused on scalability, efficiency, and digital maturity</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2><strong>Your benefits</strong></h2> <p> </p> <p>We combine the benefits of a medium-sized company with the advantages of a corporate group:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>A safe workplace in a growing, future-oriented industry</li> <li>Work in mixed mode: Home Office / On-site</li> <li>Clear rules for the on-site work mode</li> <li>Modern IT equipment at the workplace</li> <li>Working in an international environment</li> <li>International projects</li> <li>Additional benefits may vary depending on the country and location</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2><strong>Your working environment</strong></h2> <p> </p> <p>Körber Supply Chain Automation is a leading developer of automated intralogistics systems and dynamic automation solutions.
