We invest in our leaders and provide exposure to large-scale operations, innovation, and career mobility—locally and globally.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px"><b>About the Role</b></H2> </div><div><h2>How You Will Contribute</h2> <ul> <li> <p>Plan, coordinate, and assign work to ensure daily operational goals are met.</p> </li> <li> <p>Train, coach, motivate, and evaluate team members, ensuring they are qualified and able to <strong>safely operate material handling equipment</strong>.</p> </li> <li> <p>Monitor and measure team performance for <strong>productivity, accuracy, quality, and safety</strong>, documenting results through daily production metrics.</p> </li> <li> <p>Identify and eliminate <strong>safety, quality, and housekeeping hazards</strong> to reduce workplace incidents and ensure compliance.</p> </li> <li> <p>Enforce adherence to <strong>standard work, work instructions, processes, and work elements</strong>.</p> </li> <li> <p>Liaise with the Materials and other cross-functional departments to ensure <strong>on-time receipt and shipment of materials</strong>.</p> </li> <li> <p>Support continuous improvement initiatives, including <strong>5S, Lean, and safety programs</strong>.</p> </li> <li> <p>Address employee issues, escalate concerns as appropriate, and support corrective actions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.</p> </li> </ul> <hr> <h2>Your Key Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or GED required.</p> </li> <li> <p>Previous supervisory experience in an <strong>Automotive, Manufacturing, Warehouse, or Supply Chain/Logistics</strong> environment.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong <strong>interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills</strong> with the ability to lead diverse teams.</p> </li> <li> <p>Knowledge of or experience with <strong>Occupational Health & Safety</strong> practices.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with <strong>5S, Lean methodologies</strong>, or continuous improvement practices preferred.</p> </li> <li> <p>Working knowledge of <strong>quality systems</strong>, with the ability to monitor staff performance and departmental costs, including timekeeping, productivity, and quality metrics.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with changing priorities.</p> </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px">Physical Requirements</H2> </div><div><div>Standing and Walking: Will need to stand for long periods of time, such as when packing items, or walk long distances, such as when picking items from different locations</div><div>Lifting - Able to lift 20 to 50lbs repetitively throughout the curse of a shift without assistance (weight varies based on product).</div><div>Postures: Bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching.</div><div>Clothing PPE: Ability to wear personal protective gear (which may include, but is not limited to, composite toe shoes, gloves, headwear, face masks, hearing protection, fall protection, high visibility clothing, and/or safety glasses)</div><div>Hearing: Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech in person, over the telephone, or applicable wireless communication devices (such as a two-way radio).</div><div>Vision: Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point)</div></div></div></div><p style="margin-bottom:8.0px;text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="margin-bottom:8.0px;text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style=""><strong>About DP World</strong></span></span></p> <p style="margin-bottom:8.0px;text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Trade is the lifeblood of the global economy, creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for people around the world.
