We are looking for an experienced and highly connected senior leader to head the Gallery’s Philanthropy and Business Development. This is a pivotal leadership role, working closely with the Director and senior leadership team to grow philanthropic giving, corporate partnerships, grants, membership, retail, events and other revenue-generating opportunities that support the Gallery’s strategic vision and long-term sustainability. As Head of Philanthropy and Business Development, you will develop an ambitious, integrated fundraising and enterprise strategy that delivers to the Gallery’s financial targets, building enduring relationships with major donors, trusts and foundations, corporate partners, patrons, members and key stakeholders with the Director and your team, and look to grow the financial sustainability of the organisation. You will lead a talented team across membership, donor and philanthropic relationships, business development and partnerships, venue hire and events, while also working closely with the Senior Manager, Retail to support the ongoing commercial success and contribution of the Gallery’s retail operations. With proven success growing revenue, securing major gifts or partnerships, and leading high-performing teams, you will bring the relationships, commercial acumen and strategic focus needed to strengthen support for a significant cultural institution.
