With manufacturing sites in Europe and North America, and supported by SCHOTT’s global sales network, we are a leading supplier of high-quality fiber optic and LED components.</p></span></span></p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Your Contribution</b></H2> </div><div><p>• Operates a variety of cutting, generating grinding polishing, cleaning equipment and performs related job functions.<br> • Operates one or more cutting, generating, grinding, polishing or cleaning equipment according to written process specifications, as well as to production standards. <br> • Performs in-process visual and mechanical inspections; initiates corrective action or informs Group Leader or Supervisor of deviations from standards.<br> • Performs TPM on required equipment, updates sheets as necessary.<br> • Performs setups, start ups/shut downs and makes adjustments to machines.<br> • Completes labor sheets, routers, log sheets, process forms and similar reports and forms.<br> • Assists in the training of less qualified operators.<br> • Maintains housekeeping practices per departmental 5S program.<br> • Able to meet utilization targets and standard times. <br> • Accurately enters Database/SAP transactions in the computer.<br> • Maintains daily records, including labor sheets and routers.<br> • Responsible for observing and following all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and procedures</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Your Profile</b></H2> </div><div><p>• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.<br>• Knowledge of gauging and measuring equipment preferred.<br>• Effective verbal and written communication skills.<br>• Self-motivated and results oriented.<br>• Ability to work in a team oriented environment.<br>• Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.<br>• Due to the nature of work performed at this facility, US Person status may be required.</p> <p>Hourly Pay Ranges: Level C ($19.00-$21.50); Level B ($22.00-$24.50); Level A ($25.00-$27.50)<br>Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Your Benefits</b></H2> </div><div><p>At SCHOTT, you can expect a unique corporate culture where we emphasize equity, diversity, and inclusion.
