Apply now! </p> <p><strong>Learn more: <a href="https://www.jti.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">jti.com</a></strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p><p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong><span style="font-size:24.0pt">General Ledger & Asset Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)</span> </strong></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>About the position:</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Serve as a key coordination point for GL and AA activities across global markets, ensuring consistency and alignment with corporate policies and schedules.</p> <p><br><strong>Main areas of responsibility:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ol start="1" type="1"> <li><strong>Asset Accounting Oversight</strong>:</li> <ul type="circle"> <li>Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation, etc.</li> <li>Ensure the accurate and timely recording of all asset-related transactions in accordance with company policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Month-End and Year-End Closing</strong>:</li> <ul type="circle"> <li>Ensure all asset-related journal entries, transfers, and disposals are posted accurately and promptly for month-end and year-end closes.</li> <li>Assist in preparing year-end reporting for audit purposes, ensuring all asset-related transactions are fully reconciled and supported by proper documentation.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Process Improvement and Automation</strong>:</li> <ul type="circle"> <li>Continuously evaluate and improve asset accounting processes, identifying opportunities to automate and streamline workflows.</li> <li>Participate in the implementation of new accounting software, updates, or upgrades to improve efficiency in managing fixed assets.</li> <li>Assist in the development and implementation of best practices and standardized procedures within asset accounting.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Cross-functional collaboration</strong>:</li> <ul type="circle"> <li>Work closely with other departments and markets to ensure proper asset-related data and processes integration.</li> <li>Liaise with the IT department to ensure accurate integration of asset data with the company's ERP system.</li> <li>Provide training and support to junior accounting staff or other departments on fixed asset processes and systems.</li> </ul> </ol> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Competencies:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>In-depth knowledge of asset accounting processes and regulations.</li> <li>Ability to manage complex tasks and projects.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous process improvement.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements: </strong></p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>University degree, preferably specializing in economics, finance, or accounting with a strong knowledge of IFRS and any other statutory/local GAAP;</li> <li>Min 3 years' work experience in RTR area, with expertise in the Asset Accounting area and in a multinational working environment; </li> <li>Fluency in English is essential, other language is a plus;</li> <li>Knowledge of IFRS;</li> <li>Knowledge of MS Office;</li> <li>Knowledge of SAP;</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, strong personality, team player and business partner to operations;</li> <li>High integrity and ability to work with different cultures. </li> </ul> <p> </p><p> </p> <p>Are you ready to join us?
