We are seeking an experienced Legal Manager to become a trusted advisor and strategic partner to our Cluster leadership team. In this role, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders, influence key business decisions, lead complex legal matters and help shape the future of the organization through sound legal judgment and commercial insight.</span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><strong>Position:</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <ul style="text-align:justify" type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Partner with business leaders to provide strategic, commercially focused legal advice that enables business objectives while effectively managing legal and regulatory risks.<br><br></span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Lead the drafting, review, negotiation and management of a wide range of commercial agreements, while supporting key functions such as Marketing and Sales on competition, consumer protection and data privacy matters.<br><br></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Drive corporate governance, compliance and regulatory initiatives, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, internal policies and governance standards.<br><br></span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Manage complex legal matters, disputes, litigation and sensitive employment-related issues, safeguarding the Company's interests and minimizing risk exposure.<br><br></span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Lead legal support for strategic and operational projects, providing practical solutions, identifying risks and ensuring successful project delivery aligned with business objectives.<br><br></span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Build strong relationships across the organization, manage external counsel, enhance legal awareness through training and guidance and continuously improve legal processes and service delivery.<br><br></span></li> </ul> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><strong>Requirements:</strong></span></p> <p style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"> </p> <ul style="text-align:justify" type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience gained within a law firm and/or in-house legal environment, with experience in commercial contracts, regulatory matters and employment law.<br><br></span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">LLB or equivalent law degree with completed articles and admission as an Attorney or Advocate.<br><br></span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Strong expertise in providing strategic legal support to business functions, particularly Marketing and Sales, with proven commercial contracting and negotiation skills.<br><br></span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment.<br><br></span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Company Secretarial qualifications, FMCG experience and exposure to disputes and litigation will be advantageous.</span></li> </ul> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><strong>What to expect:</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Expect wellbeing initiatives, growth opportunities and excellent benefits, including a unique family leave policy.
