The role supports the management of a <strong>large, nationwide leased vehicle fleet</strong>, ensuring cost visibility, billing accuracy, and close coordination with Finance, Accounts Payable, and fleet partners.</div> <div> </div> <div>This position is designed to <strong>address current operational and reconciliation backlogs</strong> and is suited for <strong>finance professionals with hands‑on experience in budgeting, financial analysis, cost control, and lease accounting</strong>, particularly in asset‑heavy or operational environments.</div> </div> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>As a Fleet Budget & Reporting Specialist, you will:</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li> <div>Prepare and manage the <strong>annual and monthly fleet budget</strong>, covering lease rentals, repairs and maintenance, fuel, penalties, damages, and other fleet‑related costs.</div> </li> <li> <div>Monitor <strong>actual fleet spend versus approved budget</strong> and perform <strong>variance analysis</strong>, explaining drivers such as utilization changes, billing adjustments, or operational factors.</div> </li> <li> <div>Validate and reconcile <strong>lessor and vendor invoices</strong>, ensuring accuracy, contract compliance, and correct vehicle tagging prior to payment.</div> </li> <li> <div>Coordinate closely with <strong>Finance / FP&A, Accounts Payable, Lease Accounting (GBS), and Fleet Operations</strong> to resolve billing issues and clear reconciliation backlogs.</div> </li> <li> <div>Support <strong>month‑end closing activities</strong>, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting using finance systems (e.g., SAP).</div> </li> <li> <div>Build, maintain, and improve <strong>fleet financial reports, trackers, and dashboards</strong>, providing clear cost visibility to stakeholders.</div> </li> <li> <div>Participate in discussions with lessors and vendors to <strong>resolve disputed invoices and unpaid items</strong>, in coordination with the Fleet Manager.</div> </li> <li> <div>Ensure fleet financial data and reports are <strong>accurate, complete, and audit‑ready</strong>.</div> </li> <li> <div>Assist with ad‑hoc analyses, projects, or reporting requests related to fleet financial management.</div> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Requirements: </p> <p> </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li> <div><strong>Bachelor’s degree</strong> in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field</div> </li> <li> <div><strong>3–5 years of relevant experience</strong> in: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Budgeting and financial analysis</li> <li>Cost control or OPEX management</li> <li>Accounting or reconciliation work in asset‑heavy environments</li> </ul> </div> </li> <li> <div><strong>Working knowledge of lease accounting</strong> (e.g., IFRS 16 concepts) and leasing contracts</div> </li> <li> <div>Experience using <strong>SAP or similar finance systems</strong> for reconciliation and reporting</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong <strong>Excel skills</strong> (budget tracking, reconciliations, data analysis)</div> </li> <li> <div>High attention to detail and ability to work with <strong>compliance‑critical financial data</strong></div> </li> <li> <div>Comfortable working cross‑functionally with Finance, Operations, and external partners</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong communication skills to explain numbers, variances, and issues clearly</div> </li> <li> <div>Candidates with a <strong>strong finance background</strong> (FP&A, financial analysis, accounting) and <strong>exposure to fleet, leasing, or asset management</strong> are highly encouraged to apply.</div> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>What to Expect?</p> <p> </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li> <div> <p>At JTI, you will work in a <strong>high‑impact, data‑driven environment</strong> where accuracy, accountability, and collaboration are critical.
