Apply now! </p> <p><strong>Learn more: <a href="https://www.jti.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">jti.com</a></strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p><p>This position will remain open until filled.</p> <p>Local Applicants Welcome</p> <p>Department: Accounting & Finance</p> <p>Location: Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam</p> <p>Reporting to: Finance Director</p> <p>Role: Temporary</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong><span style="">Accounting and Control Manager </span></strong><strong><span style="">(9 Months Contract)</span></strong></p> <p style="text-align:center"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify">The incumbent will oversee end-to-end financial accounting, reporting, and compliance for the Vietnam market, ensuring accuracy and alignment with local regulations and global standards, while acting as a key finance partner to manage distributor and factory financials, support year-end closing, and provide guidance on financial and control matters to drive sound business decisions.</p> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify"><strong>As the Accounting and Control Manager you will: </strong></p> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <div> <p><strong>Consolidated Financial Accounting</strong></p> <ul> <li>Accountable for end-to-end accounting activities across JTI entities and local distributors, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local statutory requirements and global standards.</li> <li>Lead the year-end closing process for the Vietnam market.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Accounting – Distributors</strong></p> <ul> <li>Finalize distributor P&L (2026 and related periods), including support, reimbursement, and investment activities.</li> <li>Establish and standardize processes for new transactions between JTI and distributors (e.g., solutions, procedures, documentation).</li> <li>Manage distributor cashflow and treasury activities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Accounting – Factory</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage quarterly cost variance and maintain/update transfer pricing.</li> <li>Finalize manufacturing fees and ensure proper reconciliation of factory-related costs (e.g., write-offs, spare parts handling fees, inventory valuation).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Internal Control & Business Partnering</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support risk management, compliance certification, and internal control processes.</li> <li>Manage key account credit limit processes, including extensions and annual reviews.</li> <li>Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., factory, distributors, partners) on documentation and procedures.</li> <li>Provide advisory on accounting treatment, tax implications, and internal control considerations for new or complex transactions.</li> <li>Support finance-related projects and ensure proper maintenance of contracts and required documentation.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.</li> <li>Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably within a multinational environment.</li> <li>Strong command of English, both written and spoken.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.</li> </ul> </div><p> </p> <p>Are you ready to join us?
