Through a five-interconnected, gender transformative and context-fit country objectives, PIE intends along with the various stakeholders at all levels to continue delivering positive and transformative changes so that “Children, especially girls, and young people grow up in an enabling environment, realizing their rights and contributing in both development and humanitarian settings as active agents of change”. THE OPPORTUNITY You will follow up and monitor the project at the PU level, while ensuring a seamless integration and quality of deliverables in line with the Country Strategy. Further, you will design, implement, monitor and report the progress of project activities in line with detailed implementation plan. You will be the link between the target beneficiaries and all stakeholders critical to the project success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Monitor and coordinate project implementation with partners, ensuring plans, timelines, and indicators are met.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Facilitate planning, reflection, and coordination meetings to strengthen teamwork and adapt implementation as needed.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Produce accurate progress and donor reports, interpreting data to inform initiatives and communicate lessons learned.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Ensure compliance with gender equality, child protection, safeguarding, and security policies in all activities.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Support government stakeholders and partners for quality, timely delivery of agreed activities.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Manage and monitor project budgets, advances, and expenditures in line with objectives.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Supervise field activities to ensure alignment with donor regulations and organizational policies.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Foster collaboration and strong relationships with partners for effective project outcomes.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Plan International has a robust global policy for Safeguarding and Gender Equality and Inclusion standards, ensuring staff and associates within your scope strictly comply with these principles and guidelines.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">You will be trusted to take on additional assignments within the scope of work as assigned by your supervisor on need basis.</li> </ul> What we are looking for: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Someone with a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies or similar field. </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Should have 3-5 years of experience with a proven record of success at a similar level preferably in an INGO sector.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Someone with proven experiences and ability to coordinate and collaborate with different civil society and Community based organization.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Someone experienced in planning, conducting, and facilitating trainings/workshops.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Should have previous experience working on projects that promote gender equality. </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Someone knowledgeable on gender sensitive approaches and the ability to apply them in project implementation and beneficiary engagement. </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Should have understanding of basic gender and protection principles within humanitarian and development programs.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Someone familiar with safeguarding, protection, and prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA) principles.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Someone experienced in supporting livelihood, economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, or employability initiatives that promote women's participation and access to economic opportunities.</li> </ul> Please respond to the requirements of this role in your cover letter.
