<p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">We’re looking for a <strong>Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)</strong> to join our Logging & Monitoring squad. You’ll ensure the <strong>reliability, scalability, and security</strong> of our observability platforms, while building automated solutions that deliver seamless experiences for our customers.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>What you’ll do</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Take end-to-end ownership of designing, deploying, operating, and continuously improving the performance and fault-tolerance of large-scale, multi-cloud solutions.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure system security, data integrity, and high availability across all logging and monitoring platforms.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Develop and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to enable proactive issue detection and swift resolution.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to onboard services onto our platforms and consult on best SRE practices.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Stay ahead of technology trends and evaluate new solutions that strengthen our observability ecosystem.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Create and maintain technical support documentation, while providing hands-on troubleshooting when required.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>About the team</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Our Logging & Monitoring squad develops and operates state-of-the-art logging, monitoring and alert management platforms to collect application behavior information, detect / limit service disruption and provide the associated reporting capabilities. Our ambition is to help empower the developers, application and platform owners identify any growing risks, have a clear understanding of their SLAs, reduce the mean time to resolution and be ahead of the curve with regards to long term trends.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong> </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>About you</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Nobody is perfect and meets 100% of our requirements. If you, however, meet some of the criteria below and are curious about the world of observability we'll be more than happy to meet you!</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">We are happy to meet you if you possess:</span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong knowledge of <strong>Unix/Linux operating systems</strong>.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Hands-on expertise with <strong>Kubernetes</strong> in <strong>hybrid cloud environments</strong> (Azure and on-prem).</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Experience with open-source observability tools (e.g., <strong>LGTM stack</strong>, <strong>OpenTelemetry</strong>, distributed tracing).</span></li> <ul type="circle"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Bonus: familiarity with <strong>Elasticsearch, K6, Faro</strong>.</span></li> </ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Solid background in <strong>CI/CD</strong> pipelines and <strong>system engineering</strong> in distributed, cloud-native solutions.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Programming skills in <strong>Go</strong> (bonus if you know Python, Java, .NET, or Bash).</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong <strong>analytical and problem-solving abilities</strong>, with the ability to balance <strong>detail orientation with big-picture thinking</strong>.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Enthusiasm for creating insightful <strong>Grafana dashboards</strong>.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Excellent <strong>oral and written English communication</strong> skills (additional languages are a plus).</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong> </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt">For Spain the base salary range for this position is between EUR 60.000 and EUR 100.000 (for a full-time role).
