The Fill Room Technician is responsible for packaging and material handling activities according to written procedures in the Fill Room including filling and packaging lactic acid and derivatives as well as moving packaged finished product. Essential Job Functions: Filling Operations <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:darkmagenta">Safe, clean and accurate packaging of lactic acid (in different concentrations) and its derivatives. Includes completing all required documentation, making labels, packaging and cleaning the fill lines per company standards.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:darkmagenta">Operation and minor maintenance/trouble shooting of the packaging equipment, floor scales, conveyor and wrapper machines.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:darkmagenta">Transacting information in the SAP system and the filling equipment.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:darkmagenta">Maintaining a safe work environment by maintaining cleanliness standards and operating the equipment and utilities in a safe manner.</li> </ul> Material Handing Operations <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:darkmagenta">Receives empty packaging containers from trucks, verifies counts, makes appropriate transactions into SAP system, applies correct documentation/labels and moves product to proper storage locations.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:darkmagenta">Performs cycle count functions of finished goods and raw material product, utilizing SAP and Excel systems and following written instructions.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:darkmagenta">Accurately transacts activity records to SAP system as needed.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:darkmagenta">Troubleshoots and performs minor maintenance on material handling equipment. Maintains clean and safe working environment.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:darkmagenta">Executes QESH standards per defined roles and responsibilities to ensure personal and product safety and quality.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:darkmagenta">Performs within the guidelines of all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Security measures, Housekeeping, Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP), all quality, regulatory, environmental, safety and health guidelines and regulations.
