The System Administrator is accountable for the integrity of images and information within the System. This individual serves as a liaison to all hospital departments on behalf of radiology imaging, facilitating support for patient care and clinical education. Location: Remote, USA. What You'll Do: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the daily operations of all covered EI equipment and associated activities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Coordinate any scheduled downtime with site leadership and document all implications of such downtime on the clinical imaging system.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Collaborate with customer resources on fault tolerance and recovery testing to ensure compliance with the relevant site policies.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Communicate with administration to ensure that operating standards, policies, and procedures align with the organization's needs.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Cooperate with Agfa to identify both present and future requirements for software and equipment lifecycle management.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Attend and participate in departmental and hospital meetings, as appropriate.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Prepare reports for administration, as needed or directed.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Investigate, identify, and prepare proposals to resolve specific workflow inefficiencies while anticipating departmental needs.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Assist with coordination of end-user training and address functionality inquiries from radiology and clinical staff.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure the timely and comprehensive capture of DICOM digital image data into the PACS, along with network transmission, RIS validation, and exception handling.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Monitor report turnaround times and related reporting information.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Review feedback from end-users, compile and analyze support data, and recommend procedural and educational modifications as appropriate.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Verify the proper archiving of studies in accordance with established archive rules.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Manage job queues, including active status, retries, and failed jobs.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Investigate failed jobs and workflows.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Route to third-party DICOM systems.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure data integrity by monitoring and directing the repair of studies.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Guide customer PACS teams in checking and rectifying unverified studies.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Assist customer PACS teams with performing study fix-ups, splits, and merges.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Verification reporting tasks.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Monitor and track system performance.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Develop backup and disaster recovery plans.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Review service updates and bulletins.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Provide information on EI components for security ratings.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Provide guidance on antivirus suite exclusions.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Examine log files and reports.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Use reports and user inquiries to investigate and resolve issues.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Collaborate with regional support teams.</li> </ul> Who You Are: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">5-7 years of systems administrator experience.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Excellent communication skills.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to work with diverse groups.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Familiarity with radiology/imaging apps.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">CIIP certification preferred.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Preferred certifications:
