About this role
The Department of Public Policy (DPP) at Central European University (CEU) is seeking applications for its George Soros Visiting Chair and George Soros Visiting Practitioner Chair for the Academic Year 2026-27. The deadline is March 15, 2026. Successful candidates will be scholars and/or practitioners who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement or have a distinguished record of participation in the professional, journalistic, political, or civic world of public policy. DPP welcomes applications from individuals who contribute to the diversity of the CEU community. What we expect from the selected applicants: Join DPP for a 12-week academic term in the fall term (Sep 15 – Dec 15, 2026), or in the winter term (Jan 1 – March 31, 2027) or in the spring term (April 1 – June 30, 2027).
