Publication date : Jun 24, 2026, 3:41PM Expected role and assignments To perform its activity, the Europe Procurement team is composed of 2 people at Group level – the Europe Chief of Procurement and the Europe Procurement country partner. It interacts daily with all Europe procurement teams and GPS support teams in Europe, more than 170 people. In order to achieve the overall objectives of the team, some analysis and benchmarks should be performed as well as accelerating the best practices sharing & animation of communities around key topics (civil works, copper decommissioning…).
More specifically, the missions will include: Alongside the Europe Chief of Procurement Support the operational and financial reports and have a complete view of the Europe zone performance in terms of procurement activity Perform financial and operational benchmarking and analysis across the entire scope Support the monitoring of action plans.
Alongside the Europe Country partner Support the countries in the follow-up of their activity – calculation of baselines, procurement and financial savings Support on the preparation of key workshops, seminars and best practice sharing sessions Do the follow-up of these sessions Support in some specific identified topics: benchmark in organization for example. Profile sought:
• Student of an Engineering school or Business School with good financial understanding – good with numbers and data. • IA knowledge would be a plus as we have some needs to work on GenIA use cases for procurement. • Level between M1 and M2. • Excellent proficiency in Excel, generally comfortable with digital tools (PowerPoint, and possibly data visualization tools such as PowerBI) • Essential qualities: interpersonal skills, curiosity, rigor, initiative, confidentiality • Fluent English required to communicate with procurement partners across various European countries. It also encompasses a community of more than 800 procurement professionals.
In 2025, a transformation program, Phenix, has been put in place to increase Procurement contribution to Group ambitions. In this context, a new organization for GPS has been put in place with the creation, amongst others, of a new entity, Europe Procurement’. This entity focuses on the procurement activities of the 6 Europe countries (Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Moldova).
Europe procurement team is responsible for: · Developing a 360 view of Europe Procurement · Steering the Europe Procurement performance · Identifying the opportunities of synergies and mutualisation · Supporting the implementation of the Group procurement model · Animating the Europe CPO community and sharing of best practices.
