Job summary
Physiological Measurements Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bank Sonographer to join our award-winning team in Manchester. We deliver high-quality community diagnostics, with a focus on non-obstetric ultrasound services, supporting patients close to home.
Main duties of the job
You will perform a range of non-obstetric ultrasound investigations, including:
General Abdominal Gynaecology Renal/Bladder/Prostate Testicular Musculoskeletal (MSK) Small parts, lumps and bumps Vascular Youll work independently to undertake and interpret diagnostic imaging, formulate clinical reports, and contribute to service development and innovation. The role involves working across various clinic locations, so the ability to travel independently is essential.

Person Specification
Experience Essential
Essential: Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or overseas equivalent Professional registration with HCPC/SOR/RCT Minimum 2 years independent scanning and reporting experience UK or international driving licence (with a view to acquiring a UK licence) Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check Overseas applicants must possess IELTS Level 7
Desirable
Desirable: Experience in MSK ultrasound techniques NHS experience Good IT skills
