As a Resourcing and Deployment Manager, unlock your potential and embrace the chance to drive meaningful outcomes that’ll elevate your career. Your role will include, but isn’t limited to:
• Strategically plan and oversee the allocation of Client Service Staff (CSS) to client engagements to ensure alignment with the firm's strategic priorities and to meet the planned business metrics
• Through the use of continuous planning activities, proactive management and scheduling of resources to meet Firm utilization targets with primary focus on staff leverage and peak season metrics
• Build strong relationships with staff to understand career aspirations/goals, strengths, areas of opportunity to aid in allocating meaningful work to support personal and business objectives
• Collaboration with national resource management team including; sharing of best practices, analysis of staff capacity, promote and focus on sharing resources across the country
• Analyze standard productivity reports and provide recommendations on the appropriate action plan or activities required (e.g. workload balancing, improvement of utilization, etc.)
• Become a SME of resource management technology and reports

• Experience in a professional service environment either in a client facing, operations, workforce planning or resource management role
• Communicate clearly in English (both written & verbal), negotiate and influence successfully, collaborate with others and build strong relationships
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong multi-tasking skills to prioritize workload
• Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills to provide insights to leadership; including an ability to understand how business trends can change our market
• Excellent judgment and tact; strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze and understand the business impact of relevant options
• Ability to manage complex projects while thinking strategically and creatively
• Deal confidently with Partners and all staff levels in a professional manner, always recognizing the confidential nature of the work
• Adaptability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints to meet deadlines
• Effectively manage and resolve conflicts with a win-win approach and a focus on future outcomes

The salary range for this position is $81,900 - $131,900. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
