The selected candidate will contribute to the department's mission to provide health care to an urban underserved population and train the next generation of physicians.
Position Key Accountabilities:
• Providing direct patient care in outpatient settings and other activities may include supervision of medical students and residents in the clinic. • Developing and sustaining an environment in the patient care units that supports excellence and innovation in clinical practice and patient care through assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and standards that support positive patient care outcomes, including excellent risk-adjusted outcomes.
Qualifications:
• M.D., D.O., • ABFM Board Certified • Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. • Multilingual skills preferred. Comprehensive benefits package. Salary and rank commensurate with position.
