Job Requirements We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician to support minimally invasive, image-guided procedures at our client healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will assist physicians during procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain high standards of imaging quality and sterile technique. Primary Responsibilities
• Assist interventional radiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, biopsies, and embolization's • Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring proper sterile field and equipment readiness • Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and digital radiography systems • Monitor patient vital signs and provide support before, during, and after procedures • Administer contrast media under physician supervision, following safety protocols • Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient records • Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care • Perform routine equipment checks and report any malfunctions
Work Experience Education & Experience - Required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) • State licensure (if required by assignment location) • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital imaging setting required • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Benefits Compensation PRN: $55/hr Flat rate Long Term Assignments available at an elevated rate of pay
