The role:NoGood is looking for a hands-on AI Search and Technical SEO Intern to help drive implementation and organic visibility growth. You will assist in day-to-day technical SEO audits, AI search optimization, keyword research, and AEO implementation. As a team member, you will learn from SEO, AEO, and organic traffic growth experts.

This position can be remote, but preferably will be based out of our headquarters in New York City.

You’ll do:Oversee and learn technical implementation methods for improving organic visibilityConduct technical SEO audits including site speed analysis, crawl error identification, schema markup implementation, and indexation optimizationResearch emerging AI search trends (Google SGE, Perplexity, ChatGPT Browse, Bing Copilot, etc.)Analyze how AI models summarize and cite web content, and identify optimization opportunitiesSupport creation of AEO briefs with technical frameworks optimized for LLMsUse tools like Goodie, Ahrefs, Search Console, Perplexity, and ChatGPT to monitor shifts in visibilityImplement structured data and schema markup to enhance AI search discoverabilityConduct market research to track industry trends and competitive analysis to inform technical SEO strategiesPartner with the marketing team to work on new initiatives to drive growth through technical optimizationMonitor and analyze technical SEO metrics and AI search performanceOther responsibilities as assignedRequirements

You have:Strong career interest in technical SEO, marketing analytics, and AI Search (AEO)Exposure to SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics is a plusExcellent project management skills – able to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlinesA can-do attitude and able to complete tasks with little supervisionStrong analytical skills to interpret technical data and identify optimization opportunities to attribute growth and show valueExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWorking knowledge of WordPress is a must. Ability to implement technical optimizations within CMS including schema markup, meta tags, and site structure improvementsExperience (or a strong understanding) using marketing automation software like HubSpot is a plusBasic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture is a plusSuccessfully completed an undergraduate degree or are currently enrolled in either a 4-year program or Graduate program at an accredited schoolAbility to dedicate 32+ hours per weekBenefits
