Location Detail: United States JOB SUMMARY Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, aiding in the prevention of cross contamination, controlling bacteria and odor and sustaining an acceptable aseptic condition at all designated Backus Health System locations. Cross trains in linen services procedures and techniques as necessary.

License and Certification: N/A PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma Experience: Six (6) to twelve (12) months experience in a healthcare environment License and Certification: N/A KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions, and effectively communicate information. Basic computer skills (including opening/reading email, basic internet use). Knowledge of the basic fundamentals of housekeeping and basic floor care procedures. Some duties may require reading, writing and performing simple mathematics. Ability to read and understand oral or written instructions, and communicate necessary information. Ability to prioritize daily work assignments. Must be organized, flexible and a team player. Basic computer knowledge. PROBLEM SOLVING AND DECISION MAKING Work is performed in accordance with instructions and procedures. Requires the ability to exercise discretion and use good judgment to perform duties promptly and consistently with little direction. Incumbents must organize the work and set priorities.
