About this role
Main Responsibilities: 1. Compliance Program Strategy & Design Develop and maintain a unified, affiliate‑wide compliance framework; align with regional/global standards; provide strategic leadership beyond tactical execution. 2. Advisory & Oversight Serve as primary compliance advisor; evaluate new initiatives and marketing activities; make judgment calls on sensitive/high‑risk issues; challenge business decisions when needed. 3. Risk Assessment & Monitoring Proactively monitor the regulatory landscape, conduct risk assessments and review of compliance related transactions, and report findings to the Taiwan leadership team and regional compliance. 4. Policy & Training Centralize design and delivery of compliance training; ensure policies are locally relevant, effectively communicated, and understood across affiliate. 5. Collaboration with Regional/Global OEC Teams Participate in regional/global OEC initiatives and ensuring alignment across the organization.
Skills & Experience Required: • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or legal background preferred. • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in compliance, legal, or related fields, in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry. • Strong knowledge of Taiwan regulations and industry codes (e.g., TFDA, Pharma Code, APACMed Code). • Strategic thinker with ability to design and implement compliance programs. • Strong influencing skills and ability to command respect at senior levels. • Excellent judgment and decision-making on high-risk issues. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. • Fluent in Mandarin and English. • Specialties in data analysis (e.g., mastering various MS Office software) preferred.
