Chef De Partie Location: Lilleshall National Sports Centre, Newport, TF10 9AT Salary: £29,000 plus excellent benefits Schedule: Full time, 39 hours per week, 5 days per week. As a restaurant Chef de Partie at Lilleshall National Sports and Conferencing Centre, you’ll support the delivery of a high-quality dining experience, preparing food at scale while maintaining excellent standards and consistency. You’ll play a key part in creating positive experiences for visitors, athletes, and communities, helping us deliver a service that people can trust and take pride in. What you'll do as a Chef De Partie
• Prepare and cook dishes to established restaurant standards, ensuring consistency, quality and presentation. • Support the delivery of food service for a wide range of covers, from small groups through to events serving up to 350 guests. • Follow food safety and hygiene procedures, including temperature recording, food sampling and safe food storage practices. • Maintain high levels of cleanliness across the kitchen and ensure cleaning schedules are completed effectively. • Support stock ordering and stock control processes, helping to ensure ingredients are available when needed. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service across restaurant operations, functions and special events. • Experience working in a set-menu, table d’hôte, banqueting, or similar hospitality environment. • Food safety qualification and previous kitchen experience, ideally within a busy catering or hospitality environment. • Experience preparing and serving high-quality meals in a professional kitchen. • Good understanding of food hygiene, health and safety and seasonal menu considerations. • Comfortable using computer-based systems, including online ordering platforms. • A positive team player who communicates effectively, takes pride in their work and adapts to changing business needs.
