As a Chemicals Account Manager (Lead Operations Specialist), you will manage chemical programs at offshore facilities, ensuring operational excellence, technical reliability, and strong customer engagement. You will play a key role in optimizing chemical treatments, maintaining equipment, and delivering value-driven solutions to customers. As a Chemicals Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and overseeing production chemistry supply and service contracts to ensure successful delivery to customers

• Providing on-site technical guidance and support for production operations, process engineering, and commercial queries

• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing chemical treatment programs to support production efficiency

• Managing chemical program operations, including inventory tracking, order management, rate adjustments, and reporting

• Performing maintenance and troubleshooting of chemical injection pumps as required

• Preparing and delivering technical reviews and proposing new chemical solutions to customers

• Organizing routine production chemical reviews and selection activities to adapt to evolving customer needs

• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships while identifying value creation opportunities

• Communicating insights and opportunities to Baker Hughes leadership and internal teams

Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a high school diploma

• Have at least 5 years of experience in Upstream Production Chemicals Application & Operations

• Demonstrate knowledge of process optimization and production chemistry

• Have onshore and/or offshore operations experience

• Be a self-starter with the ability to proactively identify problems and provide solutions

• Demonstrate strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

• Have experience managing both client relationships and internal teams
