As a Global US Payroll Senior Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing the people lifecycle and operational tasks related to employee management, including payroll and benefits administration, compliance with labor laws, and resolving employee inquiries. Within our People Operations practice, you will focus on executing HR-related transactions and administrative activities, serving as a primary HR point of contact to address and escalate inquiries in line with HR protocols.
As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your skills and network to deliver quality results, motivating and coaching teams to solve complex problems. You will apply sound judgment, recognizing when to take action and when to escalate, while developing high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams. Your role involves crafting clear, impactful messages, applying systems thinking to identify opportunities, and validating outcomes with clients.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will lead large projects, innovate processes, and drive operational excellence. You will interact with clients at a strategic level, contributing to the success of our firm by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptation to emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
- Leading the execution of payroll processes and managing employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits - Overseeing compliance with labor laws and regulations to maintain operational integrity - Coordinating staff to optimize HR service delivery and enhance employee lifecycle management - Implementing process improvements in HR operations to streamline administrative activities - Managing employee data and confirming confidentiality and accuracy in record-keeping - Developing and coaching teams to solve complex HR issues and drive strategic initiatives - Applying systems thinking to identify opportunities for process innovation and efficiency - Crafting and conveying clear, impactful messages to stakeholders and team members - Directing teams through challenging situations, maintaining composure and focus - Validating outcomes with clients and acting on feedback to improve HR service offerings
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 6 years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required
