As an Acceleration Center - Private PCS - Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy within our Tax practice. You will help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico, you will review and analyze financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance. You will be expected to adapt to working with a variety of clients and team members, each presenting varying challenges and scope. Responsibilities
- Reviewing and analyzing financial data to validate compliance with tax laws and regulations - Preparing and filing tax returns to assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations - Drafting tax documents and conducting tax research to support corporate tax planning strategies - Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to identify opportunities for tax optimization - Applying accounting practices and tax auditing techniques to minimize risks of non-compliance - Consulting on regulatory compliance and submissions filing to support client needs - Collaborating with team members to deliver quality work and drive value for clients - Developing commercial awareness and understanding of business operations to enhance client support - Adopting a learning mindset and taking ownership of personal development within the firm - Gathering information from diverse sources to analyze facts and discern patterns in tax compliance
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the following field of study: Accounting - A Bachelor's Degree or Professional License (T�tulo or C�dula Profesional) are required. Candidates whose Bachelor's Degree and/or Professional License are still pending must provide an official Letter of Completion issued by the University confirming that all academic and social service requirements are complete in order to be eligible to hire. The final Bachelor's Degree and/or Professional License must be submitted to the firm�s HC department, within 12 months as of effective start/hire date, pursuant to the corresponding executed employment agreement. - Oral and written proficiency in English required
