About the location: Located on the southeastern coast of the pristine island of Lāna’i, lies the secluded retreat of Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i, an oceanfront destination offering travelers a curated, personalized island escape. The five-star, five-diamond Resort offers outdoor restaurants, including Nobu Lāna’i, a kid’s club, Tennis Garden, cultural programming, beach and pool with spacious seating areas nestled among tropical gardens, Hawanawana spa and luxury retail boutiques. Built on lava outcroppings, the award-winning Jack Nicklaus-signature golf course features ocean views on every hole. Island activities, many managed by Four Seasons include sunset sails and whale watch tours, horseback riding, sporting clays and archery, biking, hiking, and aerial adventures at Lanai Adventure Park or learn about Hawaiian wayfinding at the on-site observatory.
OSTERIA MOZZA RESTAURANT MANAGER
The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for a Restaurant Manager who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams’ have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.
Osteria Mozza Lāna'i
Acclaimed chef Nancy Silverton is known for Los Angeles eateries such as Michelin-starred Osteria Mozza, Pizzeria Mozza and chi SPACCA. Signature dishes include Nancy’s Caesar, Ricotta & Egg Raviolo, Grilled Hamachi Spiedino and Alla Benno pizza featuring pineapple in a nod to Lanai’s heritage. Salads will feature fresh lettuces from nearby Sensei Farms while pasta is made with local eggs, producing a uniquely rich fresh pasta dough. Breakfast specials include Smoked Salmon Crostone, Sourdough Waffles and Eggs in Purgator.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Restaurant Manager leads and develops the restaurant team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and strong financial performance. This role oversees daily outlet operations, while also supporting all other Food & Beverage venues for overall departmental success. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Lead and develop Food & Beverage assistant managers and team members through recruitment, training, coaching, performance management, and succession planning while ensuring adherence to company culture and service standards
• Oversee departmental financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, labor management, inventory control, purchasing, and revenue-enhancement initiatives
• Partner with Culinary and Beverage leadership to develop menus, specialty offerings, and beverage programs while maintaining product quality and presentation standards
• Provide visible operational leadership, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, building guest relationships, and resolving concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Ensure compliance with company policies and all health, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Foster effective communication and collaboration between front-of-house and back-of-house teams to support seamless daily operations and service excellence

WHAT TO BRING
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States (unless the candidate is currently in a managerial position at another Four Seasons location as they may qualify for a L-1 Visa sponsorship)
• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required.
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
• Hawaii Driver’s License and Abstract is required for this role
• Hawaii Food Handler’s Card and Hawaii Maui Liquor Card is required for this role
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
