Job Summary This position supports end user devices and provides technical support. A strong background in technical support, customer service and understanding of client-server relationships, networking, and diverse hardware devices is required for satisfactory results in this position. Essential Functions of the Role
• Familiarity with remote monitoring and control tools used in audio-visual environments, including the ability to remotely monitor and manage classroom equipment when required. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to effectively utilize approved remote support tools to diagnose and resolve end-user issues. • Provides liaison support with Information Technology and Audio-Visual vendors and contractors, ensuring the support of managed services in assigned areas. • Interfaces with users through training, education, tutorials, and problem resolution in a classroom environment. • Coordinates and communicates effectively with others to complete assigned work. • Performs troubleshooting of technical office equipment and peripherals, including telephony, printer configuration, scanners, and applicable hospital or research equipment. • This role supports the classroom and the technology in it — not identity, access, or backend systems. • Performs other duties as assigned or required. • This role is 100% onsite support. • EDUCATION - Associate's or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification • EXPERIENCE - 2 Years of Experience • CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Drivers License (TXDL): If moving from out of state must obtain valid TX DL within 90 days of hire.
