About this role
As a Production Control Engineer you will join our team in Portsmouth to support our activities within the Aerospace sector.
You will support production operations by planning, coordinating, and controlling activities across the production line with a strong focus on schedule adherence and cost control. The role plays a key part in ensuring materials, kits, and works orders are released and delivered in line with MRP outputs and project requirements.

Plan, coordinate, and control production line activities to meet schedule and cost targetsAct on MRP outputs, managing the release of requisitions and coordinating part deliveriesWork closely with procurement to expedite, amend, or cancel orders as requiredManage the end-to-end kitting process, including works order release and flight store coordinationCoordinate material delivery through the clean room in line with production schedulesWork to defined processes, deadlines, and business requirements to ensure consistency across the production control team Required Skills:
Experience in production control, manufacturing planning, or materials managementStrong understanding of MRP systems and production schedulingAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environmentExperience working with procurement and supply chain teamsStrong organisational and communication skillsRequired Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.Proven experience in a production control, planning, or manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with manufacturing processes and clean room operationsDesirable Skills:
Experience working in aerospace, defence, or other regulated manufacturing environmentsKnowledge of ERP/MRP tools (SAP, Oracle, or similar)Experience supporting complex or low-volume/high-value production lines Why join us?
