Casual position based in Townsville, QLDShift times acoss Monday - Friday, 9am – 6pmCasual position earns 25% loadingExtra 1.5% superannuation paid on top of pay rate Reporting to the team leader, a Sample Receipt Officer is responsible for performing the work of the sample receipt area and other specific duties.
Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:
Sample Receipt & login– including storage of samples on arrival, and registration in LIMS.Sample Management – good housekeeping practices.Checking registration against the COC, laying out samples.Send subsamples to hub labsTemperature charts (according to Eurofins protocols).Biosecurity samples (according to Eurofins protocols).Liaising with clients to ensure correct contract requirements.Prepare and pack bottle ordersSome local driving to collect samplesOther duties as directed.Contract Review. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will obtain the following:
