About this role
The University of Greater Manchester is looking to recruit 2 Variable Hours Tutors in Queens Dental Sciences Centre to complement our current staff, due to the successful expansion of the Centre.
We are looking to recruit to our bank of VHTs across all fields of Dental Care Profession Programmes, but in particular:
BSc (Hons) Dental Hygiene and Therapy
The key duties of the role-holder will be to contribute to the teaching and delivery of the BSc (Hons) Dental Hygiene and Therapy Undergraduate Programme, including clinical supervision. The academic and personal support of students are also key requirements. In addition, a willingness to contribute to student recruitment and admissions in the subject area would be desirable.
Professional Membership/Registration with the GDC is an essential requirement for this role along with an Honours Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area (including a registrable qualification). We are particularly interested in candidates with contemporary experience in Dental Hygiene and Therapy.
