About the role
The Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at Gulf University for Science & Technology (GUST) is seeking to recruit faculty member to join the department and support its teaching, academic, and service activities, starting from Fall 2026/2027.
The successful candidate will:
Deliver high-quality teaching in Computer Engineering undergraduate courses and laboratory sessions, aligned with the department’s curriculum. Supervise senior design projects and provide academic advising to students. Contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in departmental, college, and accreditation activities. Maintain an active interest in research and scholarly activities relevant to Computer Engineering.
Candidate Profile
Hold a PhD in Computer Engineering or a related field. Demonstrate experience and commitment to high-quality teaching at the undergraduate level. Show evidence of effective student engagement, mentoring, and academic support. Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an academic environment. Demonstrate potential for engagement in research and professional development.
