About this role
We are seeking a Digital Asset Management Manager to lead the organisation, accessibility, and governance of the University’s digital assets. This pivotal role will ensure our marketing and communications teams have streamlined access to high-quality, compliant assets that support brand consistency and operational efficiency.
Please note the role is fixed term until end of July 2027
Key Responsibilities
DAM Strategy: Support the creation and delivery of a centralised Digital Asset Management (DAM) strategy to improve accessibility, workflows, and compliance. Implementation & Integration: Oversee DAM platform configuration, integration with CMS/CMP tools, and develop metadata schemas for asset discoverability. Governance & Compliance: Implement policies for rights management, version control, and adherence to copyright and data protection laws. Team Leadership: Manage and develop the DAM team, deliver user training, and align DAM strategy with wider marketing goals. Performance Monitoring: Track asset usage, optimise workflows, and report insights to stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of DAM trends and evolve strategies to meet changing needs.
About You
Degree in Digital Media, Marketing, or related field. Significant experience managing large DAM or MAM systems. Proven track record in implementing and scaling DAM platforms. Strong technical understanding of metadata, taxonomy, and workflow optimisation. Excellent communication and change management skills.
Experience in marketing environments and digital content governance.
